Steven A. Henderson, CPA, PFS, CFP®, CKA®

Steve Henderson is a founding member of UFA and HH. He has over thirty years of experience serving small business owners and individuals as their FA and CPA. Prior to starting his own CPA firm in 1987, he worked as an auditor for a large national CPA firm, as a tax preparer for a local CPA firm, and as the Accounting Manager for a national firm in the oil and gas industry. The CPA firm he started in 1987 grew and merged with other CPA firms and became HH in 2015. In 1995, HH began offering financial and investment advisory services to their clients through UFA.

Steve has lived in the Tulsa area since graduating with High Honors from the UofA in 1978 with a degree in Accounting. Soon after graduating from college he completed the required exam and became a CPA. Later in his career, he continued his studies in the financial planning field and passed the exams and other requirements for the professional designations of PFS, CFP and CKA.

Steve understands that his clients are in different stages of life, and that everyone’s economic and life situation is unique. He is dedicated to learning about his client’s goals, and helping them succeed by providing clarity about all the key areas of their wealth care planning. This process begins by working together to build a complete financial plan for clients and their businesses. The goal of this planning process is to give clients the confidence that their plan will achieve their goals, all within a value system that is important to them.

Outside of work, Steve and his wife enjoy traveling and hiking, and spending time with their grandchildren. Steve enjoys following his favorite professional and college sports teams. He is actively involved with his local Church, and has volunteered for various other non-profit organizations. He believes that being active and helping others better understand their finances can lead to increased financial security and healthier families, businesses and communities.
